Build Farcaster Mini-apps

Build a simple mini-app that shows a message on button click.

To start building a Farcaster mini-app, create a new application in your dashboard and select the "Farcaster Action

New Farcaster Action applications come with essential resources such as logos, manifest files, and a starter template with pre-defined logic. These files are accessible on the Files page.

In the app dashboard, select Edit Application and navigate to the View Editor. Create a new page named newpage. Begin by adding a Button component to the page.

On the right panel, click the Effects tab and add a Click -> Show Message Effect.

Test your application by pressing Save, Publish and toggle the Live Preview. Click the button to see the message!

Your Farcaster mini-app is ready! To find the link to your app, open the Settings menu by clicking Settings on the top right corner next to the Publish button.
